May Prayer Points

Shalom, dear prayer warriors,

In this time between Pesach and Shavuot (Passover and Pentecost), we want to highlight these two verses to guide you in your prayers for us and our Jewish people.

Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them [Israel] is that they may be saved. (Romans 10:1)

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. (James 1:2-4)

Please join us in praying for:

  • secret believers in the Jewish community, who are fearful of disclosing their faith, to be strengthened by the Holy Spirit and reach out to us;

  • the Lord to connect us with the right individuals and churches in South Africa to form partnerships with the Jewish community;

  • the Lord to connect us with the right partners within the Jewish community;

  • opportunities for us and the body of Messiah to stand united with our Jewish people in these days of rising anti-Semitism; and

  • our Jewish people in Israel and South Africa – including Jewish followers of Jesus – who are facing trials of various kinds.

In Yeshua, the one who unites Jew and Gentile,

The Jews for Jesus South Africa Team
